  • 2 Ultra-modern freight in VI.PE. Kalochori with a total surface of 15.000sq.m. in an advantageous location

  • Anti-seismic shelving system BACK2BACK 3.400 pallet positions.

  • A network of distribution centres throughout the whole of mainland Greece, covering 100% of its regions.

  • Full fleet of 30 D.H. transport vehicles covering any transport requirement.

  • Customized – to the requirements of each customer – information system (WMS-TMS)

  • A total of 12 forklifts of all kinds for loading and unloading of all types of goods (pallet trucks – forklifts with lifting capacities up to 10 tons).

  • Ramps 35 places for simultaneous loading and unloading.

  • Closed circuit camera surveillance (24/7/365) and permanent security staff.

Historical Review

1981:

The company AFOI XANTHI O.E. was founded in the city of Volos, by the brothers Ioannis and Georgios Xanthi, as a transport company with its main activity being the transport of compact cargo.

1992:

The company starts partnerships and all types of freight transport, from and to Athens.

1998:

The first branch opens in Thessaloniki, at the entrance of the city. The company now covers the entire region of Thessaly with eight branches and acquires a leading position in the national transport sector.

2000:

The company enters the container transport industry by starting partnerships with freight forwarder and shipping companies respectively.

2006:

Through a twenty-five-year career in the transport sector, the company has established strong customer relationships, demonstrating consistency, reliability and loyalty. ‘AFOI XANTHI O.E.’ listens to the changes and requirements of the market and makes its largest investment to date, the purchase of privately owned facilities in Bi.PE. Kalochori. At the same time, it enters the sector of 3PL companies.

2018:

Considering the requirements and needs of customers, XANTHI Bros. is expanding in Athens, setting the bar even higher for proper service with economic prices.

2020:

In the context of its development, in an unprecedented period for the global market with the COVID-19 outbreak, it proceeds to another investment in a storage area in Kalochori, 200 meters from the previous facilities. This brings the warehouse footprint to 15,000sqm with greater storage capacity and an additional 15 loading/unloading ramp locations.
